Welcome to my Web site for sharing our family history!
I began researching our family history in 1999 and have continued to do so on a part-time/full-time basis. My family would say I am obsessed. :)
There is so much to learn and so many stories to tell before they become lost.
I wanted to create a place where those memories of what the others that have come before us have sacrificed to give us what we have today.
The values of our ancestors that have been instilled in us. Give a face to as many of the names as possible.
Have a place to share stories of the people we love most. Please make yourself at home and enjoy the family history that has been captured here.
If you find any of the information to inaccurate or just want to comment on something or offer a suggestion,
please send me a note by clicking here and completing the form. Enjoy!

We can also assist each other with our research using this new tool.

Below you will find some interesting documents of our relatives.

List of where our relatives are laid to rest

My family roots include Medley's on both sides of my family. My maternal grandfather's mother (Rachel Evalee Medley Austin)
was a Medley and then my mother (Joyce Elaine Austin Medley) married my father (U. G. "Shorty" Medley),
which in turn made my maiden name Medley. I am researching both sides of the Medley family line, however,
I have come to almost a complete stop on my father's Medley lineage. I have leads, but nothing that I can prove.
I am actively seeking any information that anyone has on Joseph Medley born
in 1843 in Warren County, Tennessee.
